It’s a basic command, os I must be assuming it does something that it doesn’t. How can I use javascript to direct the user to another page? Perhaps it’s my syntax:
<script type=”text/javascript”>
<!–
function direct(){
getURL(“/”);
}
//–>
</script>
and then, this on a submit button:
<input type=”submit” value=”Submit” name=”B1″ onClick=”direct();”>
Did I over look something or am I completely off?

@phpnoviceApr 09.2006 — I've never heard of this:

getURL("/");

Are you looking to do this?

top.location.href = "/";

@stephen1davisApr 09.2006 — this is ActionScript syntax. in javascript it is, like php said,

<script type="text/javascript">

<!--

function direct(){

location.href="/";

}

//-->

</script>
