myspace adornment…

Ok, so I recently set up a page on myspace and would like to change up the background, text color, add graphics, etc. and I have had no luck thus far.
I didn’t know much about HTML before, but did a little tutorial online and pretty much get the jist.
But, of course when I tried fiddling, I couldn’t do a damn thing, but bold text…Ok, so I’m a beginner!!
So, I wanted to see if anyone was familiar with myspace.com and how to go about changing things…
Any help or suggestions would be HUGELY appreciated!!

@skilled1Apr 07.2006 — the problem with myspace is they really only let you edit from the <body> tag down, so best you can do is work with that.

try this FIRST thing on your page.
