@BigDogMar 28.2006 — First, make sure you are not talking about JavaScript. Read this post to understand the difference: http://www.webdeveloper.com/forum/showthread.php?t=44049

Before you do any web development with Java, you need to learn the core language. After that you can learn JSP and Servlets, and after that you can learn EJBs. The books I suggest, in order of how they should be read, are:

Head First Java

Head First JSP & Servlets

Head First EJBs

@codedmindauthorMar 28.2006 — Thanks bigdog. I will try to find this java book. Also I have completed reference java 2. How is this book?

@BigDogMar 28.2006 — The three books I have listed try to teach you the technology in a new manner. They use different teaching techniques from other books, although they teach the same subject. I'm sure that other people have different preferences.

Usually reference books are not good to learn from - they were written to be reference books for people who already kowo the subject, not as a way to learn the subject. I personally have not looked at the book you mentioned, so I can't really say anything about it.

@Mr__RamApr 05.2006 — O'Reilly books are also good in case of Java.
