adding links to a rotator php

i have a website that has four spots for rotating banners. the banners are for our advertisers. we would like the banners to link to the perspective websites. the only problem is im not sure how to ad the links. the php and the banners are in a folder. when the website calls the rotator.php it chooses its own image. if i don’t know which image its going to call how do i add the links?
