I hope someone will have an answer for this problem I am having. I am using a side-bar background ( i think this is what you call it). The image I am using is a black horizontal bar about 200 pixels high and 1200 pixels wide. On each side of the image I have a pattern about 250 pixels wide. So when the background loads and is repeated down the screen I have a side bar on the left and right of the screen with a black center. The problem I am having is that when I view the page on different computers with different resolutions the side bars are offset from the table of data I have layered on top. Is there any way to make a “streching” background image that will widen in the center to fit the resolution of the viewing computer? I was thinking that I might be able to use two differnt images for the background (one right and one on left) with black background color under the image. Let me know if I am onto something here or just guessing.
Thank you
