I use a [COLOR=Red]body { background:url(‘pic.png’) }[/COLOR] statement in my CSS. Internet Explorer doesn’t display transparency in PNGs correctly.
There is a fix that involves JavaScript, but it only works on <img> images, not css background images. Is there any way to make IE display the PNGs properly? Thanks!
@goofy1989authorJan 15.2006 — #Well, I'm using CSS to emulate frames and layers, so I would use the transparency on the topmost frame and it looks like the text under it goes under the frame.
That's what I'm doing, only that's a super advanced version. Mine only uses a "frame" on the top and a short navigation one on the side. It's for a school project...
