I know that their is probably no real solution…but I just wanted to hear some thoughts on the issue.
I’m using ajax to return pure html (about 70kb or even bigger). When I set this return result to an elements .innerHTML there is about a 2 or 3 second delay where the browser synchrously locks up. The Ajax is fine, just the huge html string is causing this.
I know that this is ‘as expected’. but just wondering how people design around this. Trimming down the result (< 70kb) or bringing it over in chunks is not a option either. (it probably would take longer anyway)
