I am working on a site that “wraps” all the content with CSS to be centered using the following code (this works fine):
#content {
width: 750px ;
margin-left: auto ;
margin-right: auto ;
I need to have a fixed size content box that is always in the same position over a background image that is controlled via CSS and a div tag. I tried the following code, but it always drops down the entire site.
#apDiv1 {
position:relative;
top:331px;
width:298px;
height:126px;
z-index: 3;
For some reason I can not get the div tag controlled content box to be inside the initial #content container. It is always outside. I need it to inherit the initial centering wrapper and then be vertically adjusted to fit in the appropriate location. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. PLEASE
