Function Parameter default if not set

I have a function, I want to pass in a number as an optional value. If nothing is passed I want to set the default at 50 for example

I believe such an options exists in C# programming but can you do this in PHP?
public function myFunction($var = 50){

}
myFunction() – will use value of 50
myFunction(150) – will use 150
