Javascript menu generator — different behavior under IE/Firefox/Chrome

Hi there,

I’m using some javascript generated buttons to navigate around a web site that I am working on. The problem that I’m seeing is that the behavior is slightly different under IE/Firefox/Chrome.

Example:
http://www.muller.net/sonny/buttons

Under Firefox or Chrome, if you click “buttons.html”, you will see a menu of buttons with proper spacing.

However, if you use IE, there is a large gap between the first button and second one.

I am not sure what is causing this or how to fix it?

A hint would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Bob
