What is the difference between addEventListener vs onclick?

Is there an effective difference between them, when would I use one over the other?

@fpendovskiAug 12.2022 — The main difference is that onclick can be set to a specific value, while addEventListener "attaches" the event listener. This means that you could attach multiple event listeners to an element, but if you use onclick twice, it gets overwritten with the second time you use it.
