Boy... I had a whole other reply written and now after checking the Whois for your domain I had rethink your whole problem. urrg...

Your name servers are set at:
    AD1.ANGELS-DEVILS.COM
    AD2.ANGELS-DEVILS.COM

Are you suppose to be using a Private DNS? is this an option thats fully setup working?

Who's your web hosting company? I suggest double checking with them that your using the correct DNS info. A quick guess here but I would say 95% of web site owners do not go though the hassle of having a private DNS setup.

I would have to then guess that you setting is incorrect.

Also your PC's IP address should have nothing to do with your DNS, unless your hosting the site on your home PC. WHich you should check your contract with Cox because you may be in violation.

If I'm right about your home PC you should look at http://www.no-ip.com/ they can make the site properly route to your home PC.

Oh thank god someone replied.. lol

Well i am hosting it off my computer currently, but there is no one going to the site. I am just wanting to know how to do it, so when my server is set up, It won't be a problem then learning how to do it.

I don't know if im supposed to be using a privatedns... i was just kinda guessing about what i should do. what information do i use if not my ip address?

So if i try out this new website you posted, do i not need to use godaddy at all?

Boy was i on the wrong track.. lol

you cannot just create a custom/private DNS out of thin air...

The link in my post above will make it possible for people to find your site on your home PC.

The reason why you have no traffic is it's not humanly possible to get to your site.

I'm suprised that godaddy even let you set an invalid DNS... ODD

If you have a static IP (i suppose you have, since i can connect to your site using it's ip):
Use the DNS servers at godaddy, there is no need to redirect to another DNS server.
You need to create one "A" records in godaddy.com pointing to the IP of your server. It's best to create two records: www.angels-devils.com and angels-devils.com (some sites are accessed without the www)
DNS is not for portnumbers. Theoretically you could use the server type record (a special DNS record), but no browser is using it.
So you will need to use http://www.angels-devils.com:8080 or http://angels-devils.com:8080 as your domain address.

It's possible to remove the portnumber:
First create your A record, but use a meaningless name:
    temp.angels-devils.com pointing to your server
    Then create a redirect
    www.angels-devils.com pointing to temp.angels-devils.com:8080

I use godaddy only for registration, but afraid.org for dns (my server is on a dynamic IP).

BTW, redirection is generally bad for your site ranking. Using a portnumber in the address will not affect your site rating (got a PR of 4 in the last google dance for a new site that's on a dynamic IP with portnumber).
